The west coast of Canada has a lot to offer in terms of the food scene, especially delicious sushi, in Vancouver but there’s also the incredible skiing right outside of the city in Whistler. The drive from Vancouver to Whistler is a scenic one and once in Whistler, the skiing and laid back charm of Whistler VIllage makes you want to come back.
Transportation
If you’re planning on staying in Vancouver, there are plenty of Uber’s to make getting around easy. But if you want to head out to Whistler, the best option is renting a car to get around the city and drive out to Whistler mountain. The drive is about an hour and half from Vancouver and is worth doing during the morning or day when you can appreciate the scenic drive.
