Travel Guide: New York
From the City to the Hamptons and Upstate, New York has it all (call it bias, NYC is home). You can access almost everything at any given hour in New York City. There’s no lack of restaurants, cocktail bars, coffee shops, bookstores, shopping, museums… the list goes on. And if you need a break from the busy city, do as the New Yorkers do: head out east to the Hamptons for sun and sand or head upstate for hiking and nature.
Transportation
Walking around NYC is the best way to discover the different neighborhoods and uncover the city’s hidden gems but the subway, cabs, and Uber’s are all readily available to make getting around the city easy. Rent a car to go upstate or out to the Hamptons to travel on your own schedule or take the train. The LIRR from Penn Station will take you to the Hamptons and the Metro North from Grand Central will take you upstate.
