FALL EARTH TONES

Now that it’s September and Labor Day weekend is behind us, I only have eyes for fall outfits. Brown and camel shades, wool hats, suede, and leather boots – all staples for the season.

I recently bought the Staud Wally boots in tan suede and can’t wait to wear them. These knee high boots are the perfect low heel to give a little height while still being comfortable. The ones pictured here are the tan smooth leather version, which ties back to the Celine 16 bucket bag in tan calfskin leather and the Celine medium triomphe belt in natural tan leather. The tan accessories balance out a richer printed midi silk skirt from Veronica Beard and cocoa long sleeve bodysuit from SKIMS. The midi skirt has a subtle ruched detailing, which gives a flattering silhouette. Top off the outfit with Lack of Color’s wool felt hat in a warm brown. The brim is 3.35 inches which is not too wide for a more casual look. Layered gold bracelets from Mejuri and Gorjana dress up the accessories.

Shona Joy’s Rosaline Frill Maxi Dress is another favorite purchase. It is relaxed with a flattering cut that hugs in all the right places. It gives you shape without being form fitting and is flowy enough to keep the outfit comfortable. Pair this with suede heels in all shades of nude from Brother Vellies and to balance out a maxi dress with heels, layer on a knit sweater coat. Keep the accessories simple with gold hoop earrings from Mejuri and the cutest bag from Polene. If you’re not familiar with Polene, it’s a French contemporary brand with simple yet chic handbags at approachable price points. The Mini Numero Neuf, pictured below, can be carried as a top handle pouch or as a crossbody.
